It's not meant for a dechlorinator. I've had the best results dosing the right amount of solution once, and then following up with a half dose. Keep dosing every other day until the biting stops.

Not true. Stress coat is a dechlorinator... says right on the bottle "makes tap water safe: removes chlorine and chloramines, deotxifies heavy metals". It's API's dechlorinator plus aloe. You shouldn't keep adding like that..
