He's lovely! And good job pointing out the care problems at your walmart! His tail will definitely grow back, make sure to keep the water clean and warm, and pick up some stress coat if you can and add it to the water when you do water changes, that will also help his tail grow back!

That's a relief! Even if It didn't grow back I'd love him. But I can see that he Kind of swims awkwardly. They told me at the fish store that the fins are scarred that way. I'm glad they will grow back! It doesn't look like rot I don't think? and hope?. I think it's just damage.
