Where can I find affordable frameless aquariums?

Hi everyone,
I really like the look of frameless aquariums. Anyone found one with a transparent lid that affordable?

You'd probably have the best chance on ebay or craigslist... I dont know if you've seen the Mr. aqua tanks, but they're real nice tanks.

Mr Aqua unfortunately doesn't come with lids. Only brand I have seen that is frameless and comes with lids is YiDing. Apparently they are the manufacturer of the ADA brand tanks, they just aren't labelled as such (quality is identical just no fancy ADA sticker).

Don't know if they are available in America though.

However, you could always just get a lid cut from a glazier and look around for some plastic holders to keep it in place.

TruAqua.com has some with free shipping... I love their products

their "true" frame less tanks do not have lids... and can be pretty expensive... but they do have different options and some other tanks that are more affordable. Hope this helps...

I have a Tetra 3G bubbling LED kit. It come with a clear lid, a filter, a pump, and an airstone. I am overall very pleased with it. It is a half-moon style, and the small black rim around the bottom is easily removed, just pops right off, no dismantling or prying!
I got mine for about forty dollars CAD at Wal-mart, but you can probably find one online for less!

Be careful.. a lot of those frameless tanks have solid lids that don't let air in and bettas need air to breathe.

Oops, since I can't edit my post, I'd like to add a couple of things to my recommendation- there is a hole in the lid that is for the filter, but I find, since the filter is small and attaches via suction cups, that the small hole for tubing on the led works just as well for the filter tubing, leaving the large hole for a heater, which also leaves room for the LED/airstone tubing should you choose to use it. It also had a feeding hole. I will post pics if you like.
