I just realised I had never posted an introduction here, and now I feel rather rude.
Hello everyone, I'm Sparrowhawk, though of course that's not actually my name. I'm a 24-year-old girl living in Melbourne, Australia. Though I'm new to keeping bettas, I'm committed to giving the ones I'm fortunate enough to call mine the best life possible within my means.
Outside of that, I'm a science fiction, horror film and musical theatre enthusiast with a love of 80s rock and pop. I am an unashamed Trekkie, and my favourite film of all time is The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
My dream of dreams for as long as I can remember was to have a career in musicals, but as I was never trained it's a dream highly unlikely to be fulfilled at this age! These days I dream of a career in body modification, namely providing piercings in a safe and sterile environment and educating people about correct and clean body mod procedures, maybe joining an amateur theatre company on the side, haha.
So that's a little window into my life, and hopefully not too long-winded of an introduction. Though I'm an introvert in real life I can blabber on a bit online. >.<
