What I saw coming out of Petsmart....

I was going to Petsmart to buy my first betta a couple days ago. After much research online I had the right size tank and was ready for my guy. As I was walking up to the store I saw a lady pushing a shopping cart out the door and the whole bottom of this cart was lined with betta cups with fish in each one. Must have been 30 cups of bettas.

I wonder what anyone would buy so many Bettas for at one time! Can you all who are experienced with these fish give me a clue as to what she might be up to???

She will be using them as wedding reception center pieces. Each table will have a betta in a bowl. It should be against the law but it isn't

If any of you are on Pinterest you will see this a lot. I always try to comment nicely and let them know the probable abuse these fish will suffer after the wedding.

Or giving them away as party favours. Possibility at a little kid's party. I don't want to think about it...
