Why is HE at Petco???? Largo's story!

I went to Petco today with my mom (yup bad idea haha) with the main goal of getting some sort of ornament for Cadence to swim around in and to get some cat food. (Any suggestions on the ornament are extremely appreciated). My mom, who was taking care of Cadence before I came down for winter break, spotted the cutest little Elephant Ear at Petco, who then promptly came up to my mom and said "Hello". Needless to say my mom fell in love and he came back with us. He was marked as an EE so if he is a different type I would love to know, but to my limited knowledge he is indeed an EE, and extremely healthy for a Petco Betta too! We are so happy and we all love him and have him set up in a 2.5 gal tank with ornaments to come! Please welcome Largo, the luckiest Betta at Petco that day! Please forgive the terrible photography, I'm not good at taking his picture haha.

I didn't even know there was such a thing as an elephant ear betta. I've been keeping fish for slightly over a month now and I learn something new every day :D

Petco has een selling big eared plakats for at least a year now!
I got my Phillip almost exactly a year ago.
He was probably so healthy because he was in a new shipment.

My Petco does a pretty good job at keep there bettas healthy, even long term. Congrats! I love EEs, I have two. Your little guy probably cost as much as my Princey, but hey, when you're in love who can say no? My boyfriend got Princey for me <3 He looks similar to RegisteredUsers EE! But he's purple/blue without flash but looks green with it. Lol.

Anyway, I'm rambling!! CONGRATS!! These fish you'll see have such personalities! Waving their "Ears" around x3!!!
