Quick question on breeding.

Hello there all, happy new year.
So to the question, i have a HM male, and i'd like to breed him over the summer. But upon searching AB, i found but 2 domestic (im terrified about ordering internationally, i live in MD, and the closest transhipper is like, florida) females! but there were tons in the HMPK category. If i breed them together, will i get plakat and HM or just one or the other.

Thanks so much,
Iryna

You will mostly get the long finned variety of HMs, possibly a few HMPKs

I'm sorry to butt in with no information but, I live in MD too. :D What color are your lines going to be? Sorry for hijacking about the future. Oh, and there is actually a transhipper in NYC. His name is Kevin.

There is? well then guess i might import. Well i think, considering my males colors, it'll be bi-color red and blue with possibly some solids. Im hoping for maybe a darker red bi-color with him and maybe a few oranges. It'll be interesting to see what he produces.

Yes, but I think he's limited to some specific sellers. I might buy from you in the future, but Pikesville is pretty far.. Those colors sound gorgeous! Remember to make a thread.

Yeah, pikesville is all the way in Baltimore county. But i can ship within the state- im ok with shipping along the coast but not farther, im paranoid. And ill definitely make a thread during the summer when i decide to breed- but so far how the weathers going, if it gets up to at least 70* at night ill start breeding then, i hate heaters but i might have to buy one anyways. ;-;.... now the fun of picking a bride!

Nope, haven't seem any, only males. I have a female PK, though. They marked her as a VT but she's a PK. Do you mean Aquabid? My parents don't let me buy off there because to register you have to give your phone number. /: there are actually a lot of fish stores in MD than you think. Here's a link. There's one in Baltimore called "Fin Ovations". lol
