Are bettas compatible with any specific type of turtles? I also have platys, so they must be compatible too. I'm not looking to buy right now because my 10 gal is fully stocked - but i'd like to know for the future.
Turtles view fish as food, & will rip them to shreds if they can't swallow them whole. It may take smaller baby turtles longer to eat a fish but they'll get them eventually.
Fish & turtles just aren't compatible in MOST aquariums. Same applies to crayfish & shrimp. Turtles love fresh scampi.
