Well, the loaches or Betta sometimes eat shrimp, but cherry and ghost shrimp have virtually no bioload, so you could probably safely add a dozen or so. epicfish.net has a good deal for them and it's good stock from what I've heard. If 20 is too many, you can always give a few away

Wow I could have a dozen? Crazy. When yo usay dozen you mean all males right? It'd feel kind of cruel if I let them breed knowing they could be eaten, and use them for that purpose too

I think I heard ghost shrimp are good because they lack colour? Ugh, how high of a chance will they be eaten?

Ghost Shrimp are clear, but they are also very cheap. It's really up to you.

And don't worry about sexing them. If they do breed and you fish eat the babies, then they eat them. It's a norm in the hobby. If none get eaten, they can overpopulate.
