I hope he does too, and chocolate Betta, I understand.I'm using AQ salt also, I've dealt with fin rot MANY times. Almost as bad as this guy actually.

Kanaplex and Maracyn Plus are antibiotics. They will not harm his labyrinth lung. However, the Melafix could.. I have no idea who gave you this mis info but it's wrong.

Those preset heaters tend to overheat and fail.. I really strongly suggest you never ever use a heater without a thermometer, but it's extremely important in something this small.
