5 gallon tank is on the way

Woohoo!! My male's new 5 gallon tank is on its way and should be here later this week. I won't be able to set it up until the end of the month though because the heater I ordered won't be here until then. So for now, he'll have to continue to be content in his 3 gallon,

On the other hand, my hubby said that from now on all of our fish will only ever be in 5 gallon tanks. I'm interpreting this to mean that we will be getting more fish in the future . When I asked him what we should do with the 3 gallon, he said, "I don't know, but we won't be putting any fish in there."

I'm sure he will be. My female absolutely loves her 5 gallon tank, and that is one of the reasons my husband is saying that we will no longer have anything smaller than 5 gallons for our fish.
I haven't asked him if I interpreted his statement correctly yet. I'm just going to let it slide for a while, then bring it up later when I'm ready to get another fish.

Hopefully you interpreted his statement correctly! LOL, you can always just go buy some more and remind him of the statement he said and that you took it as he meant that before he can say no! LOL

The only thing I have room for anymore are 2.5's so all my males ar stuck with them till I move out again next year, then I'll probably upgrade most of them if I can!

I have room for 30 gallons and this is in a small room.

Yay! Congratulations. It is always fun getting something for your pet friend :) I'm sure he will be like "whoa!" in a good way! If the 3 gallon has decent lighting you could always grow some live plants in it?

I could grow live plants in it. There is one in there now, but I will move it to the new tank when I'm ready to transfer him to it.

An ADF sounds fun, my son would love a frog. I might go that route, and have live plants in the 3 gallon.

Nice! I have a 26, 2 10's, 4 2.5's, and a bunch of 1g QT's, in my bedroom, so unless I move the rest of my furniture out I can't get anymore to fit, ive tried. Lol
