In my opinion he can be healthier by the looks of it. Also depends on how his behaviour is as well as his appetite to eat.

Ok, healthier in what ways? What do you suggest I do for him? He eats with gusto, sometimes flipping some of his body out of the water.. He flares his gills out at me on occasion. Just a couple days ago though I noticed he has one white spot on each of his eyes but can't find any other signs of Ich. So I'm treating him with medicated drops to be safe. Hopefully he gets better! Have had him over 1 year and hasn't been sick until this point (But like I said, he seems to be acting fine)

in that case if he's acting normally and active, eating normally, flaring etc then he's well and kicking. i was just judging by his fins but must be his natural colour. keep an eye on the white spot if it spreads, your doing the right steps so far medicating him.

its hard to tell at times cos SDT flares 180 but HM are more fluffier when flared..look back at this thread there's pics of Super deltas and Hafmoons from there you can tell the difference. In my opinion when he's fully flared looks more of a HM.

Eatmice - yours is a Halfmoon.. has a definite 180 spread (or nearly close to it.. too close to not be considered a halfmoon).

Bingus, your guy looks healthy - body wise, fins are a bit ragged, but there is no rot or ammonia burns. Nothing wrong with him at all.. all are pretty fish.
