Sorority video.

17 Females in a 55 gallon tank. Sorry for the poor quality of the video.

How many more females can i add? What would you change as far as decoration or what would you add?

video is private :)

I always heard that its 2 gallons per fish, so I guess the max is 27..?

But I'd probably cap it at maybe 25

Nice setup! I'd add some floating plants as it looks pretty bare up at the top. Other than that, I'm very jealous! :)

Any suggestions as far as floating plants, some that are easy to take care of.

I have anacharis in mine and they've been thriving.. These can be planted into the substrate or left as floaters. Hornwort is another one and possibly Cabomba (These were initially planted in my tank but the water changes/siphon dislodged them and I just left them floating). All great cover for my little guy (he loves to hide in the maze of greenery).

I have A LOT of water wisteria that refuse to stay in the gravel, no matter what I do so I just let them float and they did wonderfully! The doubled in size and have about a third of my ten gallon covered and its been only 2 months.

Would my filter mess up the floating plants?
