Algae, should they be cleaned up?

They're green, not brown. Cleaned up like i take a piece of cloth ive used only for aquarium purposes and remove it during WC?

That'd be fine. I just had brown algea in a 1g qt, just wiped it out with a paper towel when I was changing water and its gone and no issues with chemicals!

It will but most of your BB is in your filter. I keep algae off the front glass but let it go crazy on the sides and back.
