What kind of betta is this?

Not sure if this is the right section, I apologize if it is not.

This is my first post here, but I have been a lurker for awhile :)

About 3 months ago I bought a baby betta from Petco (let me clarify that I do not support the fact that they are selling baby bettas and honestly felt bad about supporting this endeavor by buying one, but I fell victim to the charm).

It has been 3 mos now. He/she is about 1.5 inches (a little less than 3/4 an inch when bought). I believe it is a female because she does have an egg spot.

My main questions are:
- Does this fish look to be male or female to you?
- What type of betta is this?
- What about the coloring? She doesn't seem to have developed much coloring for hold old she is. Is this color pattern more of a wild type?

Leaning towards saying a Marbled butterfly PK female. Could be HMPK

ventrals look a little long for a female, imo. at 3 months, i could tell my HMPK dragon was a female(well... I couldn't, but a breeder friend of mine clarified for me), so you should be able to tell it's gender now. .3.

I love that colour! The grey is something you don't see as often, no it's not wild colouring.
I still think it could go either way on gender.

Is that two-ray finnage (each caudal ray split into two)? If so, it's probably a male PK (plakat). And I too like that coloration. Very classy.
