Question Got some mold...any fish safe way to remove/keep it away?

I have a bit of a mold issue in my divided ten gallon tank. I know it's not algae, because there's none under the water, just a bit on the plastic canvas top and on the dividers where the water hits it. I'm pretty sure it's from where my filer kicks water up, so I need to try to get it lower down in the tank. But is there a fish safe way to get the mold up? I tried using a damp paper towel to get it off, but it just couldn't get to it. Or would it be best to simply get new plastic canvas?

Diluted bleach soak, dry, and lots of rinsing.
