Fuzz like cotton? This is either columnaris or fungus. Kanaplex will likely take care of either.

You need to use the scoop inside the Kanaplex. One level scoop treats 5 gallons. So you dissolve one level scoop in 5 teaspoons of water and then take 2 and a half teaspoons of the mixture into the tank. It says treat every 48 hours. You do this for a week, along with 50-100% water changes before the redosing of meds (full dose each time) then 100% water change at week's end before continuing a second week.

Are you also using epsoms?

yea, its cottony. kanamycin that i'm treating him with now takes care of gram negative bacteria so it should treat columnaris and fungus. not using epsom but will start now. he hastnt pooped in since 2 days ago. 1tsp per gallon, correct? Shld i be feeding him less. currently i am feeding him 5 nls pellets a day. 2 in the morning, 1 in the afternoon and 2 b4 bed.

Stop feeding until he starts pooping regularly. Continuing to feed when they can't poop can be lethal.
