For my blog, I would like to post some questions, to which I'll give the best answers I can.

Example: "Can my male betta be with my female betta? - D.C".

What are some questions that you find most common? And best of all, do YOU have an answer for it?

Example: "Can my male betta be with my female betta? - D.C

"No, because you can cause stress to both the male and female betta if they were forced to live together..." etc etc.

What to feed my Betta? How big of a tank is needed? What are some other good sources of info? Can I use tankmates? What are some great decorations for my tank?

What kind of food should I feed my Betta?
Feed something that has meat listed as the first 3 ingrediants. Pellets are best. You can also vary their food with bloodworms once a week.

Why pellets?
They are less messy and easier to feed and measure.

How much?
As much as they can eat in 5 minutes, once a day, 6 days a week. Add one at a time. It should be between 1 and 8 pellets. Scoop up the leftovers to keep from dirtying the water.

Why only 6 days?
It cleans out their system and will not hurt them.

Tank size? Water changes? Declorinator and conditioner? Telling tail type and color types (mate, matalic, dragonscale...)?

Breeding, breeder tank size, conditioning for breeding, selecting good pairs, growth (with pics!), sexing, and other good breeding information.

Betta tank mates? Betta tanks in a house with pets (dogs, cats, and so on)? Things dirtying water (bugs, cat hair, and so on)? Tank cleaners they wont eat or eat them!

Dangerous and safe places to keep tanks (wabbly table, kitchen, near heater...)?

Diseases and how to treat? When to euthanize and how? Lifespan? Range of size? Bioload? Caring for special needs fish (blind, injured fins...)?
