Strange bump on betta

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? A strange bump on her side

I noticed this bump that appeared on her side behind her stomach and the usual bulge females have, its strange in the light it looks hollow or see through, her behavior hasnt changed at all though. She's still eating, pooping, very active, always flaring at my finger. I'm not sure what this bump is or if its harmful. In the pictures I put the divider up in the tank to get her to face to the side where I could get a picture of the bump

She could either be full of eggs, or be constipated. To relieve constipation feed her the inside of a pea (squeeze the outsides out) and fast her for three days.

If she has eggs, you will know, her 'egg-spot' will be more protruding than usual. :)

I would just do that and keep an eye on her for a few days. Move her to a QT bowl or tank if you have it. Watch the colour of her poop too.

her poop and everything is normal it's not her stomach that's bloated it's behind her stomach and only on one side

Oh, sorry, I didn't notice that before.

It could be a tumor or internal parasites. You can find information of both of these things online.

I can't see in those photos. They're all too blurry. Sorry.

But you might try epsom salts at 1 tsp per gallon - 100% magnesium sulfate with no additives per ingredients label. Predissolved and added slowly over an hour. Leave her in them 2 weeks. See if it helps.

Is she a crowntail or is her top fin kinda shredded? Having a hard time seeing with the blurr..

The bump looks like its in a strange spot... Probably not bloat. I would agree that it may be a heater... But then again, maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot as the photos aren't that clear.

She is a crowntail, and if it is a tumor, is there anything I can do?

Peas don't really help most of the time. It's too rough for their digestive tract and sometimes it makes it worse.. For tumors there's nothing you can really do. CTs usually look bloated more than other tail types due to their body shape... For now keep her in a QT tank and try to get better pictures.

Oops I put heater instead of tumor, lol.
That just doesn't look like bloat to me even though its true that some CTs just look bloated.
