ich quandry

My bristlenose pleco got ich so I put him in a 5 gall. hospital tank. One of my rescue bettas also has it and is in a 2.5. Would it be okay to put them both in the 5 gall? Im treating the pleco with high temp and salt.

I would personally keep them in their own QT's as one may recover from it sooner than the other and you don't want them getting it again :)

It's alright =) No point having it recover just for it to get sick again straight away! :P

Actually, it's best to treat their home tank when treating ich.. I would remove them back into their home tanks, remove any live plants or invertibrates, etc out of the home tank.. then use the medication or AQ salt + temps of 85*F to kill off the ich.. you may see it on your fish, but the eggs do fall off the fish and into the substrate, along with free swimmers.. always best to treat ich in home tank.
