Good News and Bad News

So I finally got dragon a three gallon critter keeper to make him happy! Bad news is he chopped on his tail more while I was away. First picture is of his old home. Please don't judge or criticize some water had flown out of it whole he traveled to a friend's while away. And the second is of his new home and third picture is of him and his tail damage :/ right now he is exploring his new home and looks happy

It seems some bettas are just fin biters, like how some people bite their nails. Some of them stop once they're settled and their stress goes down. Good conditions will help their fins grow back as well.

Thank you! Right now he's exploring and has this look on his face like, "is this really mine?" I was watching him and he kept coming over to me so object so he could explore his new home. I think he's going to be happy c:

I really like his new tank. The gravel goes with him. :)
I have had a few tail biters, they like things a certain way I guess. lol
I had one that would not bite his tail as long as he was in a 2 gallon, never moved his tank and never let other animals near him. He even would bite if I moved his plants from their original spots. Sometimes they just never seem to stop though.
Is that little green plant sharp at all? I had one like that and it was a fin ripper.

The funny thing about the gravel I just randomly chose it haha and I hope he stops buying. No the green plant is very soften and not sharp at all
