To split, or not to split, that is the question.

I'm currently a college student, living in my dorms. I probably should have stated that, l do very limited space, and I had the 2.5gal sitting in my windowsill before because I had absolutely no room, and the biorb tank out in the living room on a side table (it wasn't running), but my 10gal was on a table where the TV belongs(I knew it could hold the weight that way). I still have no room for a 10gal in my room unless i do some SERIOUS moving around, but i have a oot of electronics in here and water changes on a dresser arent exactly ideal. So the only place I can think about placing it is in the living room currently. (And we got a tv in the living room, so now the tank can't go in its original position)
