Unhappy Weird behaviour or is this normal?

well first time i catch him doing this. He stays at the bottom of the tank swimming like he was looking for something in the gravel. When i approach his tank he usually gets excited and comes to see me but he just ignored me this time, is that something to be worried about? Can get a video if needed

How much do you feed him? He could be hungry or wanting attention.

3 betta pellets twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night

ehh he probably was too preoccupied with searching for scraps. some of my girls spend all day and night looking for them and rarely pay attention to me.

All of my Bettas scavenge the bottom of the tank for extra munches, some do it more than others.
