Is it too much?

Hello there everyone, I would like to know if 7 neon tetras, a betta, and 4 or 5 cories are too much for a 10g tank. I currently have it cycling for about a week or so now. Will I run into any problems with the amount of waste put out? If so, how can I change the current fish I want without overstocking the 10g tank?

Most of the time neons will work, and that is very close to the full capacity of a 10g.

The betta and 7-8 neons will work out. No cories, though. Too much. You could have a betta and 4-6 cories, too. But no neons, your choice. Remember to QT! :)

Agreed.. that's fine if you remove the corys.

What kind of corys? A lot of those require much larger tanks than 10g and can get quite big

I was thinking panda cories, but since many are saying that it's too much for a 10g, I guess i'll go with a betta and 7 neon tetras. Thanks guys !
