I didn't import these guys. I bought them from the Transhipper.
I pay $15 shipping for priority for almost every order i've had shipped domestically. Sometimes it's a little less sometimes more.
I've never imported but while talking to the Transhipper about these fish he said if I had bought them as imports I would have paid about $30 for priority shipping plus the price of the fish and whatever other fees the seller had.

oh thanks, ya ive been trying to get ahold of a girl about buying one of her females to know how much shipping was within the US but she hasn't replied and i really want the girl betta

I bet importing fish there is expensive

Not worth it honestly. There is a transhipper in Montreal though. But I think 30$ is base shipping.

I completely agree. I would love to import because we don't see fish with the looks of imports over here very often, but the price of importing is rediculous.
Unless I find one that I absolutely cannot live without, I wont be importing for a long time.
I don't even pay for anything more than priority shipping and heat packs as is lol

You're lucky then! I guess with multiple transhippers in USA and plus a lot of local breeders, you can choose from a wider variety.
Here we have the option of VT, HM, and CT. With the odd PK which the lps sells for 40$ a pop.
