my Betta and the snails

hay everyone,
i had made up a tank for my Betta,and because i wanted something different from gravel i had used play sand,"nothing special"
i hear you say lol
the funny thing is..is that today i have added MT snails,
i only wish my camra had not run out of battery otherwise i would have
recorded a video,he came out of his rock house to see what was
being deposited into his home,as he is very nosey at the best of times :)and his behaviour was fun to watch,
he has watched them until they dissapeared into the sand,
and when i say watched them,he was as still as can be,even his fins stopped moving,and he sat at an angle keeping an eye on them.
then once they had dissapeared into the sand,he went back into his house.
i thought i would share as it made me smile.

AWWW....thats so funny to hear......Bettas are so interested in everything, aren't they?
I recently shifted mine to my bedroom, so he can be around me all the time......last night as we turned off the lights to go to bed, he went behind his plants to sleep and this morning, at first light, when I sat up in bed to stretch...he came swimming excitedly to the front and started looking at me hopefully for a meal.... :D
Sometimes, I think that he's almost human!!
