i was thinking something a little more direct, like if anyone was in the area with some bolt cutters to just tear the sign down, and continue doing so to every new sign they put up till they give in.

...wow. I have to admit that I was as dumb as a post about why you were so mad. Then again, I wasn't lucky enough to get to learn Spanish. I was like "Is it supposed to be a sign picking on orphans or something?" Then I saw the translation and just went slackjawed. Screw the local government. Call the local news! Try to embaras people over this. Then, call/email the governor with pics! Nothing a ham likes more than a pedistal to get on. Use that to your advantage to where they will think twice before doing something THIS stupid again!
