I have nine boys and all but two can easily eat the larger Omega One pellets. Eclipse, who looks kinda like Bubba from Forrest Gump because of his jaw, sometimes has to nip at them, but he can usually get them after a couple of tries. The other, Mojave, has no deformities around his mouth, but his aim is terrible. He'll try to get the food over and over and miss. Even when it falls into the tank and he goes after it he will miss most of the time.
I figured getting smaller food might make it easier for them, so I picked up some New Life Spectrum (Betta). Eclipse has no trouble with that, but Mojave still can't seem to aim well enough to catch the food. I've tried crushing THAT up so that it's tiny pieces that are almost powder, but it still isn't helping. What can I do to make sure he gets enough food?
