will this set up stun my betta's growth

hi everyone, i have a very nice set up for my fish and it looks great, its a 5gal tank and my betta is a super giant, my big question is: will this stun my betta's growth??

No it will not stun its growth, most bettas when bought a petstore or ordered are already full grown

what you have her in was probably alot bigger than what she grew up in

Generally the rule is 10 gallons for a giant, but I am sure people keep them in smaller.

she is beutiful. i know a person that keeps a large betta in a 2 gal.

+1 to kithy

5 gallons isnt ideal for a giant, but its manageable for sure.
He doesnt look cramped, just keep up with water changes, maybe do 30-35% instead of 25/week and he'll be just fine!

We would all like a 10g...LoL. But five is fine, especially after you get it cycled.

That's a good start. I'm sure he'd like some plants, silk or live. And don't forget the "topcover," Wisteria, duckweed, or floating Anubias (my favorite), for shade. Anubias is nice For him to sleep in and hide.

Also, it's a good idea to cover the tank --- Gladwrap/stretchfilm will do. This keeps the air he breaths moist and warm. They like that.

Oh wow, he is a big guy! I'm sure that will be fine, if not you will just have to watch him and upgrade at some point in time
