SO the lovely plakat lady... I floated her in Phantom Menace's tank mainly for size difference AND I got a video of it! A week of quarantine plus another week of conditioning (since in the first week she will be conditioned anyways), and she should blow up like a balloon with eggs. The size is pretty good on her, and he was very interested in getting her out of that jar and into his nest When the video uploads I shall add it for you to see!!

I looooove her lavender/red coloration! And yes, she has submission stripes on her! I will probably condition her with teak leaves.... Making her scales stronger, since he still is bigger and may harm her a lot more than a regular male would. I also, do not have any males big enough to wrap her BUT him.

An update:

The first female plakat has gone green she's also a very big eater! Her name is Melusine


The Cambodian crowntail is very spunky just like Peaches. She is Lilith.

The poor pale plakat has dark blue fins with an almost black body. However she is clamped up and I may use AQ salt for her, to boost the immune system, and I feel ich may be approaching... She is Lucille.

The crowntail male loves to flare at anything. Including the baby bettas behind his quarantine jar! His name is Ciricco.

Our lovely blue butterfly Boy, I named Poisedon.

The white marble fella has gotten more light blue on him... He's Jackson.

The tiny red crowntail lady, her eyes really do not fit the size of her body she is Hera.

The yellow butterfly HM needs to stop tailbiting! I knew he did that in the store, so now I'm on a quest to make him feel better, and perhaps slow down or entirely stop (unlikely) his tailbiting. His name is Xanthus.

Lol thought it fit :p all except Lucille are doing great. Not sure what her problem is, but she'll hopefully get better. Daily water changes plus Galric Guard with the NLS pellets and thawed bloodworms should help.

For some reason as of the last month or so I have been falling in love with cambos.. I wanted one about a year ago, never got her, and now I'm considering scrapping my orange line (for now) and playing around with cambos.
