One of my girls won't eat already-suggestions?

I was watching the tank today and Asami spit out the omega one pellet, but went after it again, got it in her mouth, spat it out, then left it. Any more pellets that sank she ignored.

I don't quite have the online funds to buy NLS and our petco is tiny, so I'm not sure if they got any in yet.

Anyhoo, any suggestions to get her to eat? Other than that she is swimming around scoping for food. I do notice that near her eye, it looks like a scale came off (looks white) but I assume it's from the fighting.
Set the sorority up 2 days ago.

Also, are frozen bloodworms a good staple diet? And which brand do you get?

Frozen bloodworms aren't usually used as a staple diet, but they are better than freeze dried bloodworms. You could try soaking the pellets in garlic juice and see if that helps. You might also try crushing them to make them easier to eat. I know my male ignores food that he can't chew and swallow in one bite, so I use smaller sized pellets, otherwise, he spits them out once or twice and then gives up.

be paitent. Bettas can go 2-3 weeks withtout food. She may just be stressed out. keep trying and wait a few days. She will eat when shes ready. My betta took a week before he started eating. I know its hard to watch them not eat but she will be fine

The food may be too big for her as well - that action tends to mean they are trying to bite off pieces of the food. I use my thumbnail to break up pellets for fish that are too small to eat one fully/safely.

We have a herb grinder, so I'm able to get them really tiny.
