The problem with people, not bettas - rant

I have to say I am very happy my husband has respect for all life no matter how small. Except spiders hehe he hates them. He even cruises Aquabid with me and shows me the one he thinks are pretty. The fish are my hobby but he falls for each new addition as much as I do. He prefers the bettas over my community tanks though.

I did run in to a guy at Petco one day that pretty much told me I had no idea what I was talking about when it came to heating a Betta tank. His thrive just fine in a 65 degree tank and swam around their tanks just fine(according to him). You can't fix stupid I suppose but I hope just maybe I put enough doubt in his mind that he went home and did some research.
