Baby betta - guesses?

I'm terrible at sexing and typing baby bettas. Anybody have a guess as to this little one I brought home the other day?

The little monster likes to challenge the ghost shrimp for their algae wafers - his appetite is insatiable!

Ignore my antibiotic in the background there

It is still too young to tell tail type and gender, but the color is amazing! I really am loving the green sheen :D

What an excellent fish! I have a little girl crowntail and I love her so much. Cannot say if yours is girl or boy, but I can say s/he is a cute, cute fish.

Girl. Most likely PK.

Looks like a double ray CT.
not sure on gender...possibly a female just by looking at the ventrals, but cant be positive until (s)he grows up a bit.

I think 80% or more baby betta sold at stores are female. This one looks healthy and happy, congrats!

Thanks for the guesses and compliments, everybody!

I sure do adore this little one. It's already tried its best to eat some java moss, got stuck inside the hollow rock ornament in its tank, and made friends with six ghost shrimp. <3

I mistakenly thought my last Petco baby to be a girl, so I'm just waiting to see for sure on this one :P

Never had a crowntail before, and would love it if (s)he turned out that way!

My camera's broken so I'll see if I can borrow somebody's camera for weekly updates on the little one's progress!

I'm still leaning towards PK. CTs are much more prominent even at young ages.

And it is definitely a girl.

After four years of breeding on and off I've gotten good at telling these things :P
