So, I went to Petco looking for a nice CT pair. They didn't have any CT females, and most of their CT males weren't breeding quality. There were a couple with very nice fins, but extensive red wash. SO, I decided to look at their HMs. Lo and behold, there was this lovely little guy. Yet another HM labeled as delta, just like my orange boy Quasar. Ah, well, saved me $4. The search for a blue HM girl to my liking continues.
Anyway, meet Rory:



His anal is long, he's got a bit of a spoonhead, and his ventrals aren't as full as I'd like, but all of these are fixable faults. Not bad for $8.16.

Once in a while you find a standout betta like this at the 'pets' (mart or co). My avatar fish was a petsmart find after going to 3 of them in the same day and finding nothing at either of the 2 petcos I went to.
I set up a 10 divided tank just to have ready incase I come across an outstanding fish one day so I can hold him till I get a smaller individual tank for it.

I went in to find female bettas, came out with two and got 3 males xD Delta, super delta and halfmoon... All labelled as halfmoon. Could've gone with a dragonscale delta, but... I prefer the ones I got :p
