Thumbs down scaleloss on male betta head

Hi,

My betta is in his breeding tank taking care of his eggs since yesterday.
This afternoon i saw that he has a spot on his head. It wasnt there this morning...
IT looks like he s missing a couple of scales on his head.

I don't know what that could be, but I would watch it and then treat him well when you take him out. As long as there is no fungus don't worr too much.

never seen that before , if u can remove him before the fry hatch ,then get a piece of airline tubeing n drop the water on the fry low so when they hatch out they be ok, some illnesses can kill ur fry so treat him asap

It's really hard to tell the quality of the white spot due to your low quality photo. I can tell there is something white on his head, but that's it. Is it fuzzy? Have the scales just turned white? Or is like.. a pitted hole in the head..? It looks like there is some white further back on his back as well? Is there any way you could get a better quality photo?

Also more info is needed: http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=49233

The head has lesions and grey areas in the scales. Like it or not.. you are dealing with mycos triplex. Get a clearer picture.. but bet that is what you have. no cure.. read recent article I just posted.

told you guys it was in a l lot of places..
