Aru, Nameless, plus updates

[Fenghuang]

These are two bettas that live not with me but with my girlfriend. I have successfully converted her... >:D Into the fish hobby, I mean. Last year, she got a one gallon fish tank. Now, she has two more tanks.

The first is Aru. She's a girl from Walmart; she has a alpha personality and is quite the glutton. She lives in a ten gallon tank with three male guppies and a few cories and she rules the roost. This was her last Febuary when we got her:





Here is her today. She has brighten up considerably, as you can see:





The new boy is Nameless. He is a pinkish (?) crowntail from a local store in my girlfriend's town. They had ran out of space and he was being kept on display in a plastic bag. He is a bit beaten up and rather timid. Doesn't have a name yet, but we have taken to calling him Nameless until we can find him a suitable one. Suggestions are welcome, of course.

Dante tore his dorsal, I have no idea how. /: I think he's going to be joining the girlfriend and her little menagerie of fish. She has an extra five gallon for him and he'll be happier.

Thank you guys. I'll pass that on to the girlfriend. ^^ Yeah, Aru matured a lot. We had her for almost a year now. She's three inches long--more than three times the size of Dante lol.

Ah, no one? Is Nameless going to be nameless forever? We were thinking about naming him Ryu... Like the Ryu Dragon from Kingdom Hearts 3D. But not sure.

Is that what he is? I wasn't sure... Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking, but I kind of forgot my common sense today when I saw those too. I might be going slightly crazy lol.
