Hi
I have a Fluval Spec 5 gallon tank and I have just one betta in it.
The water has been properly treated for chlorine (API dechlorinator) and regulated for ammonia / low oxygen levels using API stress zyme+
The tank has a return-flow pump filtration system (biological, chemical, mechanical) set on minimum, and a top fin 5 gallon unbreakable heater that keeps temperature around just 25.5-27C (78-81F)
Before putting the fish into the tank I've let her container float for about 15 mins then released her into the tank.
It's the 2nd day now, she won't eat a thing & just floats around getting sucked into the filter intake if she so desires in a lazy fashion (the filter has a HUGE sponge behind the return-flow slits so I don't think it will cause any damage vs traditional filters)
I think she is sleeping but then she does this for 4-5 hours straight!!
so I gently guided her into this thing, but then she has her tail up like so almost all the time when she appears to be asleep.
when she is not inside this thing before she used to sleep with her head down and tail up as well.
is there anything wrong with my fish??? HELP?!?!
