Exclamation Betta acting weird

Hi

I have a Fluval Spec 5 gallon tank and I have just one betta in it.

The water has been properly treated for chlorine (API dechlorinator) and regulated for ammonia / low oxygen levels using API stress zyme+

The tank has a return-flow pump filtration system (biological, chemical, mechanical) set on minimum, and a top fin 5 gallon unbreakable heater that keeps temperature around just 25.5-27C (78-81F)

Before putting the fish into the tank I've let her container float for about 15 mins then released her into the tank.

It's the 2nd day now, she won't eat a thing & just floats around getting sucked into the filter intake if she so desires in a lazy fashion (the filter has a HUGE sponge behind the return-flow slits so I don't think it will cause any damage vs traditional filters)

I think she is sleeping but then she does this for 4-5 hours straight!!

so I gently guided her into this thing, but then she has her tail up like so almost all the time when she appears to be asleep.

when she is not inside this thing before she used to sleep with her head down and tail up as well.

is there anything wrong with my fish??? HELP?!?!

To me, and I am by no means an expert or anything like that, from her pictures it looks like she has dropsy? Pine coning of the scales. Do you have any pictures of her out of the cave? Was the temperature of the water the same in both her container and the tank?

Temperature was normalized (container in tank for 15 minutes) before she was released into the tank

Ok not dropsy, that's good!
When has she pooped last? What did it look like?

I think she's not fed well, It's only her 2nd day in my tank and before she was kept in a cup of water at petsmart =.=

She pooped basically white with a little beige color to it. I tried to feed her 1-2 pellets but she refused

so then I crushed like 5-6 pellets into microscopic pieces and dumped it into the tank. This water is only 2 days old, dechlorinated.

Ok maybe she has internal parasites? Do you have pure Epsom salt? Like the nonscented kind? Also fast her for a day or two that might help her.

Her poop is white? It should be the same color as her food.

Oh and also, try going for a pellet that is New Life Spectrum... I think that is what it is called, or go for Omega 1

I don't know what they fed the fish with at petsmart, but she wouldn't eat anything I give to her. she's now sucked onto the the flow-return filter inlet (like picture above), with only her gill moving and everything else inanimate
