Does he have fin rot?

Does my little Felix have fin rot? please help!! If so, how could I treat him? He's in a 3.5 gallon tank with a heater on 26 Celcius and no filter. I've only had him for a week. I use Nutrafin Aqua Plus, and change 50% once a week and 100% once a week. He's very active, he like to play with ping pong balls and swims in laps all the time, please, HELP!!

You've only had him for a week so his fin damage was most likely already there unless you're saying his fins have gotten worse since you've had him. I'm not seeing anything to be immediately concerned about. More often than not clean, warm, conditioned water is all a Betta needs to get healthy. I would keep an eye on him, if the fins appear to get worse then look at doing something different but right now just give him some time.

What a pretty boy! Sounds like you're doing everything OK. The basic treatment for fin rot is just to keep them in clean, warm conditioned water. And you're doing that now. If his fins start to look worse (thinner, more ragged, or develop black or red margins), let us know. Otherwise, like Shellieca said, just keep him in the clean, warm, conditioned water and give him some time to heal.
