I think there are an abundance of crazies all over, but she's from a small conservative town in Nebraska so she's not as used to them (besides the crazies in her family, lolol). I just don't think she'd be too ecstatic about meeting someone I met on a forum that I've never met in real life. She's had a few run-ins in Colorado that I think have made her really cautious about the people there, especially anyone she doesn't know.
And she didn't seem to incredibly concerned about her fish but she said that she's had bettas in the past live for 3 years in bowls and all the ones she had in bigger tanks died quickly, so I cannot convince her to at least get a bigger tank, let alone a heater and quality food and all the other things a betta needs to live a happy life. Ugh. I also saw some people at walmart today purchasing 7 fish who had a 3 gallon tank in their cart (totally unrelated but it made me think of that). The sales associate was also totally clueless. The lady was asking, "so these fish aren't gonna like, try to kill each other, right?" even though he was pulling them all from the same tank and I do believe they were all the same type of fish. bluurrrrggaskjhfkjsnbf.
