Question Betta Fish Food and Shellfish Allergies

Hi everyone,
I have found that my betta fish pellets contain shrimp meal, which makes me nervous because I have shellfish allergies. I would love to switch to a betta fish food that doesn't have any shellfish in it, but so far, I haven't been able to find any that don't have either shrimp or krill meal/oil in them. Are there any food pellets or food options that do not contain shellfish on the market? Thanks!

You could try feeding him frozen bloodworms; you can get them at PetSmart. He'll love it.

Blood worms are like feeding candy. They shouldn't be a staple.

You're not going to find good quality food that doesn't have shellfish.. best advice is just don't touch the food. Use a scoop or gloves.
