Can anyone tell me what my baby betta is?

Hi Everyone, I bought these two bettas a few days ago.( wasn't planned...long story) Can you tell what sex it is and what tail type it is at this size?
All opinions are appreciated.

Top one looks like a female crowntail and I would say the same for the bottom. They're both very cute!

if you look closly to the top one tail you can see the crown.

Thanks blue the betta and valen1014. How can you tell the difference from male and female when they all look the same til they're bigger?

I need a closer look at the tails really, the red looks like either vt or ct but I can't tell from the distance. It looks like ct but it could also be a trick of the camera since the pictures are blurry.

As for gender the top is def a female but the second I suspect could be male, can you get it to flare? I can't see all the detail in that one.

They look like Female crown tails... though it could be just the camera

@ LadyVictorian, Its so hard to get a good picture of them. Since i rescue them from Petco they have been so active. Idk if they're just energetic or if they are still looking for brine shrimp lol. How can you tell from female and male when they are this young?

@If0210, I do notice ridges like patterns on both of their tails. I don't see any white dot under their bellys. Could it be to early?

You have to look for a number of things, first being the egg spot, a little white spot under the belly. Females will have this BUT at the same time so will young males. You have to be careful with that. Also overall body shape of males and females, and looking at the fins and beards. Females will have bears but males will be more impressive, of course that starts showing a little later but as fry get their colors it starts to get easier to tell them apart. At 3 months it was very obvious my baby was female.
