Could it be a boy still?

I hate to make ANOTHER thread on this site, but I have been observing my bettas and I realized something interesting. When the paper is between the tanks Jabi looses most of her roundness. In matter fact she was almost back to "normal". The paper disapeared some how and now she's getting round agian. Kaoru I noticed tail has grown more, it's actually getting longer. I know she has a obvious pointy spot on her belly (which Jabi don't) but could Kaoru still be a boy? I can't find my pictures but when I got Kaoru her tail was Y clearly. Then last time I updated her pictures on this site she was -<= now she's -<=== and it waves more. But I see no droop yet which for it's growing length I am surprised.

It could be male.
Some females have long tails, some males have egg spots, some females don't have egg spots, some males have short tails, etc.
Does the body look feminine or masculine? Does he/she blow nests, always flare at others, get vertical stripes when she/he sees a male?

A picture would be really helpful to answer this! :)

I've seen her blow bubbles and there are a few bubbles right now floating on her tank. Does she look feminine or masculine, well really not that familar with bettas but she has clearly a different body type then Jabi. Yes, she has done something that looks like flaring. Vertical yes she most defently does have vertical stripes; kinda like tiger stripes. Below is the image from the eighth but her tail has grown since then, and she turned a bit more blue.

-edit-

lOoking at these picks jer top fin as grown too (you know the fin jaws sticks out of the water). 0_o but her lower fin looks the same.

XD my Jabi then must be confused about what a real boy looks like. Right now Kaoru is dancing for Jabi but I think it's best I keep them out of site of each other so Jabi can stop turning into a round bead with a tail.

The vertical lines are a definite sign she is a female. Plus the picture looks very feminine.
I have a female that will blow bubble nests too. It's so weird! But she's definitely a girl as well.
