My avatar is a Copper Eagle Over Half Moon. He has passed away but I just got his brother in the mail today.
That is a prefilter sponge, a connection tube for lee's undergravel filters, air line, air stone, and marbles. (I get the small ones from craft stores) Cost about roughly $5.00 to $10.00 to make and the great thing about it is you have options on the size of the sponge. They sell premade sponge filters but the only ones I found were just too big for a 2.5g or a 5g. I've hooked two of them up to a 10g Tetra Whisper Air Pump with no problems. I am sure it could hold 3 of them it the air lines aren't to long.
