They get about 4-5" long.. I would not keep with any fish as they are willing to try and eat fish, a betta would be a good target. Hardy guys, you can keep more than one together too.

ACF need a species only tank ... the only other living thing that should be kept with them are fish you want them to eat.

Are you talking about the African clawed frogs that are predators....If so, as Olympia posted...not a good idea to keep them with some species of fish-especially Betta since they would make a quick meal out of them.

I have never personally kept any-only read the horror stories when a hobbyist added what they thought was an ADF to the Betta tank and it was really an ACF that ended up killing the Betta.

That also would be risky.. it could eat the ones you don't want to cull.. or are you talking about adults? :w

I think the OP intends on keeping the ACF in a species only tank and feed the culls to them- so that the OP would have full control. Kinda like keeping a large tank with a large fish to use for culling.

Skyewillow on here keeps them and I think she knows a lot about them. Hers live with feeder guppies as live food. They could be good for culling indeed!
