If you have just normal red tea with no added stuff that should work, either that or decafinated green tea by lipton works as well.

If you want to switch them over make sure the top of the 2 gallon can be covered as an adf can easily escape tanks.

If you can get brine shrimp frozen or live DO, betta's will snap them up and if he isn't eating anything else then that is your best bet, also if you switch him to the 5 gallon heat it up more and see if it gets his appetite going.

I went to hall council and back (2hrs) and Pascal was at the top of his tank. :) I finally got ceran wrap from the front desk (I never use it myself so didn't have it on hand) and had put it on before Hall Council - I came back and tank was up to 77. I discovered a snail too... looks to be a MTS. It seems no matter how well I rinse off plants, snails are inevitable............. at least it's free algae clean-up. Just gotta make extra sure to not overfeed... eh.

In any case, seeing Pascal at the top of the tank has calmed my anxiety. He still won't eat the bloodworm though... He just swam away from it in fear and is now resting in the java moss. Tomorrow when I'm in town I will be fetching brine shrimp.

That's a start!
Just be sure not to leave food in. If he swims away, take it out and try 12-24 hours later.

I do take it out except with java moss and dirt substrate it makes it very hard... I feed the bloodworms by tweezer to control this better but sometimes they fall off. I have no way to get it back when it falls into the jungle of java moss and disappears from eyesight without disturbing the entire aquascape and subsequently Pascal. Any tips?

I've heard of stress coat also, good idea to grab some?

If your tanks are soil based-I wouldn't worry about any uneaten food that falls-it a great plant food after all....

Yeah I usually don't worry about it in my 5g because it's just food for the snails and plants in the long run...

Would stress coat be a good idea?

Edit: off-topic, how do I unsubscribe from a thread?

I don't use stress coat-but other use it with success for different issues.

To unsubscribe-go to the top "Quick links" in the drop down box at the bottom you will see "subscribed threads" click that-then check the box on the thread you need-then go to the drop down box at the bottom and click on unsubscribe-then okay...
