This is going to be really weird to explain. After recovering from fin rot I put my Betta back into the big tank from the quarantine, my Betta seems to have developed a really big liking to aeration bubbles. It has been swimming there for half a day. The bubbles are not that strong, but my Betta is a male and has a gorgeously big tail, so the bubbles keep on flipping it. Yet he still persists. He will go to where aeration is, get flipped, and go back again. And has been at it for half the day. Is he just being playful and happy that his fin rot is cured or is this something funky? The weird part is that I also have oto catfish, and he has been doing the exact same thing since I put my Betta back into the big tank. And my ghost shrimp is sitting on the plant that also touches the bubbles and is surfing it.
Is there some bubble hype I don't know about? Could oxygen be low now?
