Stressed out female. Any guesses on what her true color is?

This girl came into the LFS today, and she looks like she might be purplish, which is almost exactly what I've been looking for for the last three weeks.

It's really hard for me to tell, though, since the substrate is purple and she's got stress bars that practically glow

Video here:

I corrected the image to be as close as possible to how she looked with the naked eye, without sacrificing the nuances of color.

I won't guess, mainly because my lavender female is green -.-;; Once she has settled in, and feels better you should see a vast improvement not only in color but in behavior too.

Her fins and tail are still so short, her color to me looks "Juvenile"...she doesn't look much bigger than a baby betta.

I haven't been back to my LFS, but I might stop by tomorrow. I'm quickly hitting my limit on tanks, though, so I'm being extra cautious before I take the plunge and add another tank to my collection.

Sometimes royal blues with red wash look purplish. There are also some VERY beautiful multicolor bettas that can appear purple. I hope this helps.

I stopped by the LFS again today. There hasn't been much change, though, I did notice that if I looked at her with the substrate behind her, she had a purplish tint. When I looked at her with the back of the tank behind her, she had less of a purplish tint, bordering more on bluish.
