how much dechorinator do i put in a 2.5g tank??

just bought a 2.5g so i might buy another betta. its probably already been asked but i have some dechoinator but it only says to add a tablespoon for every 10 gallons and i dont have anything to measure it with. so about how many drops from the bottle would it take to safely remove chorine from a 2.5g??

dont worry for my future fishy i also bought stress zyme and stability from seachem and should be getting a small heater for the 2.5 as well.

There are 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon, and 3 can only go in 10 three times. So it's about 1 teaspoon for 3 gallons. I think putting in a teaspoon will do the trick. :) You can condition the water up to 5x the needed conditioner before it starts hurting the fish so it should be perfectly fine. What's your brand? Prime? Stress Coat? Top Fin?

im sorry i read it wrong it says 1 teaspoon for every 10 gallons. the brand is API, the product itself is stress coat

If you have some way to measure ml then 1ml will condition one gallon. If the bottle has a two cm tall cap then it will have a 5 ml measure line on it. If you have the 4oz bottle then the cap will have the measuring cap as dual cap and measure cup. An eye dropper or turkey baster would work to help determine how much conditioner to use.

Add about 25 drops of the Stress Coat to your 2.5 gal tank.

The math, if you want to see it:
1 tsp = 5 mL per 10 gallons.
This is 0.5 mL per gallon.
You have a 2.5 gal tank. So you'd need 1.25 mL total.
There are about 20 drops per mL, so you'd need about 25 drops.
