He's just in bad shape. he should color up with proper care, including clean water. I would also treat him with aquarium salt at 1 tsp per gallon for 10 days. only replace salt along with water changes.

x: not half dragon. i'd say, like.... lots of metallics, maybe? all that metallic and dragon scale stuff confuses me, tho

Dragonscale's typically look like the scales are actually thicker then the other scales and are typically white and opaque. Partial dragonscales usually have it along their sides or on their face - my marble is a partial dragonscale, he has this sort of 'armor' scaling on his face and head.

Metallics give the illusion of dragonscaling because the scales are also opaque, but are actually no thicker than normal scales.

That being said...I also still find it hard to tell the difference sometimes >.< Especially when you include coppers and silvers into the mix. And I've seen blue dragonscales as well.
