Swollen spots?

I have a girl with pale spots and some of the spots are lumps on hear head. I think one might be a lesion. I havd a girl with a lesion a couple months ago and she died because I kept putting off buying he meds so I really want to get started :/ I'll upload a pic as soon as possible

What tank mates does your betta fish live with? 5 other girls

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? tetra min tropical crisps
How often do you feed your betta fish? I don't really have a schedule, sometimes I feed before school, sometimes after, sometimes both.

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? When I feel like Its been awhile since the old one.
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 25 or 50%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? API conditioner

You definitely need to replace the thermometer asap.

You need to be doing a minimum of 25% weekly changes with siphon.. if you have not been then I would do a series of 2-3 50% changes with siphon over the next few days.

Your food is also not so good. I would look for a good quality pellet whose first two or three ingredients are whole fish, not fish meal or wheat.

Btw im sad to admit I have been tryiong to give up fish so they havent gotten alot of care in awhile, just the basics so nitrate could have been up causing stress :/

If that's the case, why not post something in the Classifieds section? Maybe someone nearby would like to adopt them.
